Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the AdviserDesk service. By creating an account or using AdviserDesk, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for your team members' use of the service.

You must be a financial adviser, work for a FAP, or otherwise be authorised to handle the client data you put into AdviserDesk.

Subscriptions & billing

AdviserDesk is offered on monthly or annual subscriptions, priced per user. Fees are charged in advance and are GST-exclusive unless stated otherwise.

You can cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are not refundable on a pro-rata basis unless required by law.

Your data

You own the client and policy data you put into AdviserDesk. You grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it to provide the service. We act as your processor and handle it per our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for reviewing any AI-generated output before relying on it or sending it to a client.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing or harmful activity, no attempts to breach security, and no reselling access without our written agreement.

AI features

AI outputs are a first draft, not advice. You retain full professional responsibility for reviewing, editing and finalising anything before it reaches a client. AdviserDesk is a tool that supports advisers; it does not provide financial advice.

Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies.
